On the surface, Fimatron looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://fimatron.com/en/home. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind Fimatron is where the problems begin.

Is Fimatron regulated?

We could find no evidence that Fimatron holds a valid licence from any recognised financial regulator. Trading client funds without authorisation is one of the strongest indicators of a scam — there is no regulator to complain to, and no protection for your money.

Red flags we identified

• Account dashboards that show “gains” with no real market exposure
• Offshore or shell-company registration used to avoid oversight
• Unrealistic profit claims and pressure to deposit more
• Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”
• No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record

Our analysis

Fimatron does not disclose any regulatory information, offering only a registered address and phone number in the United Kingdom. Our investigation with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has found no record of this entity, confirming that Fimatron is not authorized by the FCA to conduct financial trading activities in the UK. Operating in this manner constitutes unauthorized and illegal activity under UK financial regulations. Therefore, Fimatron appears to be an unlicensed and scam broker.

Can you recover money lost to Fimatron?

If you have deposited with Fimatron, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
