We’re a Chicago-based crypto and asset-recovery firm built on a simple belief: victims of fraud deserve intelligence and honesty, not another sales pitch.

Cleverecovery was founded by investigators who were tired of watching fraud victims get scammed twice — first by the criminals, then by “recovery agents” who demanded huge upfront fees and delivered nothing.
What we do
We trace stolen cryptocurrency and pursue its recovery using blockchain forensics, open-source intelligence, regulatory knowledge and coordinated action with exchanges, payment processors and the appropriate authorities. We also maintain one of the largest public databases of fraudulent and high-risk brokers anywhere — over 9,000 entities and growing.
How we’re different
Our name is a promise. Fraudsters are clever; recovery has to be cleverer. But being clever also means being honest — we will never tell you recovery is “guaranteed” in exchange for a large payment up front. That’s the calling card of a scam, and we built this company specifically to be the opposite of it.
