Who is NARDO?
On the surface, NARDO looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://nardofx.com/en/. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind NARDO is where the problems begin.
Is NARDO regulated?
NARDO provides no verifiable regulatory licence. An unregulated broker answers to no one: it can freeze withdrawals, invent fees, and disappear with deposits, all without consequence. This alone is reason enough to stay away.
Red flags we identified
- No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
- Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
- Unrealistic profit claims and pressure to deposit more
- Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”
- No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record
Our analysis
NARDO claims to be owned and operated by NARDO GLOBAL LIMITED, a regulated broker in the US by two financial authorities, including FinCEN under MSB license number 31000202059432, and NFA under NFA ID 0543860. However, despite its claims, this broker doesn't fall under valid regulation for the following reasons. 1) FinCEN does not regulate forex markets nor does it issue licenses for brokers engaging in such activities. 2) We indeed found a result matching this broker in NFA's registry, however, NARDO is not overseen by NFA as it is not an approved member of the regulator. As a forex trader, you must bear in mind that if a broker claims to be eligible to solicit US customers in forex activities, it must: 1) be accredited as an approved Forex Dealer Member of NFA; 2) be admitted as a "retail forex exchange dealer." Obviously, NARDO doesn't satisfy these conditions. All evidence clearly states that this broker is merely a registered firm rather than a regulated one and is not qualified to carry out such services. Therefore, it is a scam.
Can you recover money lost to NARDO?
If you have deposited with NARDO, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
