Who is JMTrade?

JMTrade markets itself as an online trading and investment service. Its public site is presented at https://jmtrade.com/. It claims to be based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. As with most operations of this kind, the polished front end conceals a lack of the basic protections a real, regulated broker is required to provide.

Is JMTrade regulated?

JMTrade references SVG FSA in connection with its regulatory status. We were unable to confirm this as a valid, current authorisation to handle client funds for the services JMTrade offers. Claimed or borrowed regulatory references are a common tactic used to manufacture false credibility.

Red flags we identified

  • Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
  • Opaque or anonymous corporate ownership
  • No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record
  • Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”
  • Offshore or shell-company registration used to avoid oversight

Our analysis

JMTrade claims to be licensed and authorized by the Ministry of Commerce in the State of Kuwait. However, this authority does not regulate leveraged forex trading. Furthermore, JMTrade fails to disclose any authorization from a recognized financial regulatory body overseeing forex activities. The absence of legitimate, transparent regulatory oversight poses a significant fraud risk to investors. Therefore, JMTrade is highly likely to be a scam.

Can you recover money lost to JMTrade?

If you have deposited with JMTrade, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
