On the surface, GOC Prime looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://gocprime.com/. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind GOC Prime is where the problems begin.

Is GOC Prime regulated?

We could find no evidence that GOC Prime holds a valid licence from any recognised financial regulator. Trading client funds without authorisation is one of the strongest indicators of a scam — there is no regulator to complain to, and no protection for your money.

Our analysis

Goc Prime claims to be registered with the Saint Lucia International Financial Centre (IFC). While the company (GOC Prime Limited) exists in the registry, this only grants International Business Company (IBC) status — not a financial license. The IFC does not regulate forex trading, so this offers no investor protection. Goc Prime also claims registration in Thailand. However, Thailand has no regulatory body that licenses retail forex brokers. This means it is not authorized to offer trading services there, raising serious concerns about its legitimacy. Therefore, Goc Prime appears to be a scam.

Can you recover money lost to GOC Prime?

If you have deposited with GOC Prime, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
