Who is FXPIG?

FXPIG markets itself as an online trading and investment service. Its public site is presented at https://www.fxpig.com/. It claims to be based in Vanuatu. As with most operations of this kind, the polished front end conceals a lack of the basic protections a real, regulated broker is required to provide.

Is FXPIG regulated?

We could find no evidence that FXPIG holds a valid licence from any recognised financial regulator. Trading client funds without authorisation is one of the strongest indicators of a scam — there is no regulator to complain to, and no protection for your money.

Red flags we identified

  • Offshore or shell-company registration used to avoid oversight
  • Opaque or anonymous corporate ownership
  • Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
  • No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
  • Unrealistic profit claims and pressure to deposit more

Our analysis

FXPIG previously claims to be regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC), but we did not find a match for the company's name or company license number in VFSC. Currently, FXPIG claims to be based in Georgia, but there is currently no regulatory body in the country that oversees foreign exchange activities. This means that FXPIG is not regulated by any financial regulator. The funds invested by investors in this broker are not safe and cannot be protected by any laws. It is a fake trader.

Can you recover money lost to FXPIG?

If you have deposited with FXPIG, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
