Who is FIRE PHOENIX?

On the surface, FIRE PHOENIX looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://firephoenixfx.com;https://www.firephoenix.cc/pc/#/layout;https://www.zodialtd.cc/pc/#/layout;https://firephoenixex.com/#/home. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind FIRE PHOENIX is where the problems begin.

Is FIRE PHOENIX regulated?

We could find no evidence that FIRE PHOENIX holds a valid licence from any recognised financial regulator. Trading client funds without authorisation is one of the strongest indicators of a scam — there is no regulator to complain to, and no protection for your money.

Red flags we identified

  • Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”
  • Opaque or anonymous corporate ownership
  • Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
  • No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
  • No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record

Our analysis

According to its website, FIRE PHOENIX comes from London, England, and is managed by the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supervised by the US MSB (MSB registration number: 31000243370224). However, upon investigation, we found relevant information in CH, but no matching information was found in the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), in other words, it is only registered with CH but is not regulated by the FCA. Furthermore, we found the matching information in the MSB, but MSB is only for currency exchange business, it cannot provide foreign exchange margin business, and it has no authorization and supervision authority for financial derivatives. The truth is that FIRE PHOENIX is not regulated by any regulators. Letting it hold or control any investors' money is unsafe and the money cannot be protected by any laws. Therefore, FIRE PHOENIX is a scam.

Can you recover money lost to FIRE PHOENIX?

If you have deposited with FIRE PHOENIX, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
