Who is Leed Word?

On the surface, Leed Word looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://leedword.io/#/. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind Leed Word is where the problems begin.

Is Leed Word regulated?

Leed Word provides no verifiable regulatory licence. An unregulated broker answers to no one: it can freeze withdrawals, invent fees, and disappear with deposits, all without consequence. This alone is reason enough to stay away.

Red flags we identified

  • Account dashboards that show “gains” with no real market exposure
  • Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
  • No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
  • No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record
  • Offshore or shell-company registration used to avoid oversight

Our analysis

Leed Word, owned and operated by LEED GLOBAL CAPITAL LIMITED, claims to be a regulated broker by ASIC, CIMA and NFA. However, we didn't find any result macthing this broker from the registry of ASIC and CIMA. Besides, we indeed found a matching result in NFA's registry, however, Leed Word is not overseen by NFA as it is not an approved member of the regulator. As a forex trader, you must bear in mind that if a broker claims to be eligible to solicit US customers in forex activities, it must: 1) be accredited as an approved Forex Dealer Member of NFA; 2) be admitted as a "retail forex exchange dealer." Obviously, Leed Word doesn't satisfy these conditions. All in all, Leed Word is not overseen by any regulator. That means investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

Can you recover money lost to Leed Word?

If you have deposited with Leed Word, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap.
