Who is GICM?
On the surface, GICM looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://www.gicmarkets.com/. It claims to be based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind GICM is where the problems begin.
Is GICM regulated?
We could find no evidence that GICM holds a valid licence from any recognised financial regulator. Trading client funds without authorisation is one of the strongest indicators of a scam — there is no regulator to complain to, and no protection for your money.
Red flags we identified
- No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record
- Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”
- No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
- Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
- Unrealistic profit claims and pressure to deposit more
Our analysis
GICM previously claimed to operate under the name Global Integrated Captech Markets Ltd, registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. However, upon re-verification, we have confirmed that the company’s registration status with the SVG FSA has now been officially marked as "Cancelled". Furthermore, there is no longer any mention of regulatory status, the operating name has changed to GICMarkets Limited, and critical information such as the registered company address, contact details, and regulatory disclosures are entirely absent. These factors strongly suggest that the platform may be operating without any legitimate oversight and could potentially have fraudulent intentions. Therefore, GICM should be marked as a fraudulent broker and be avoided.
Can you recover money lost to GICM?
If you have deposited with GICM, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
