Who is Spectre.ai?
On the surface, Spectre.ai looks like an ordinary forex and crypto broker. Its public site is presented at https://www.spectre.ai/en/. But surface impressions are exactly what these operations rely on — the substance behind Spectre.ai is where the problems begin.
Is Spectre.ai regulated?
We could find no evidence that Spectre.ai holds a valid licence from any recognised financial regulator. Trading client funds without authorisation is one of the strongest indicators of a scam — there is no regulator to complain to, and no protection for your money.
Red flags we identified
- Unrealistic profit claims and pressure to deposit more
- Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”
- No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
- Opaque or anonymous corporate ownership
- Account dashboards that show “gains” with no real market exposure
Our analysis
Spectre.ai claims to be owned and operated by Spectre Trading Limited, a company registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We did find matching result to this broker in the Financial Services Authority of St Vincent & The Grenadines (SVG FSA) registry. However, it should be noted that the SVG FSA has no legal authority to issue forex licenses and regulate forex markets. In addition, it claims to have a sub-licence agreement with Nebula Two Ltd, a company supposedly authorized by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market (ARDFM). However, our search for these two entities on ARDFM's website did not yield any results. That means what Spectre.ai claims on its regulatory status is a false statement to unsuspecting investors. The truth is, Spectre.ai is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.
Can you recover money lost to Spectre.ai?
If you have deposited with Spectre.ai, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
