Bit Coins markets itself as an online trading and investment service. Its public site is presented at https://bit-n-coins.com/. As with most operations of this kind, the polished front end conceals a lack of the basic protections a real, regulated broker is required to provide.
Is Bit Coins regulated?
Bit Coins provides no verifiable regulatory licence. An unregulated broker answers to no one: it can freeze withdrawals, invent fees, and disappear with deposits, all without consequence. This alone is reason enough to stay away.

According to its website, Bit Coins claims regulated by The Global Financial Authority (GFA), however, upon investigation, we found that GFA is not a regulatory agency and has not registered with relevant agencies to engage in securities trading business or provide anyone with advice on investing, buying or selling securities.
