SlaTrade markets itself as an online trading and investment service. Its public site is presented at https://slatrade.com/. As with most operations of this kind, the polished front end conceals a lack of the basic protections a real, regulated broker is required to provide.

SlaTrade claims to be the trading name of Standard Life Aberdeen, allegedly a UK-based global investment manager. However, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed that Standard Life Aberdeen is a clone of an FCA-authorized entity. It is evident that SlaTrade is a scam. Therefore, entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky. Investors must avoid SlaTrade at all costs.
