Who is Star Net FX?

Star Net FX markets itself as an online trading and investment service. Its public site is presented at https://starnetfx.com/. As with most operations of this kind, the polished front end conceals a lack of the basic protections a real, regulated broker is required to provide.

Is Star Net FX regulated?

Star Net FX provides no verifiable regulatory licence. An unregulated broker answers to no one: it can freeze withdrawals, invent fees, and disappear with deposits, all without consequence. This alone is reason enough to stay away.

Red flags we identified

  • Unrealistic profit claims and pressure to deposit more
  • No credible physical address or verifiable corporate record
  • Aggressive “account managers” coaching clients to deposit
  • No verifiable licence from a recognised financial regulator
  • Withdrawals reportedly blocked behind “taxes,” “fees” or account “upgrades”

Our analysis

Star Net FX claims to be registered in Mauritius, the UAE, and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, and is registered by the Financial Services Commission (FSC). However, o ur investigation found no record of STAR NET Limited in the official registers of either the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius or the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) of the UAE. Furthermore, a search of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines revealed that while the entity may have been previously registered there, its status is now listed as “cancelled”, which means that it is no longer legally active in that jurisdiction. Despite this, the Star Net FX website remains live and continues to solicit investors, which is a serious red flag. Therefore, Star Net FX is a scam.

Can you recover money lost to Star Net FX?

If you have deposited with Star Net FX, do not pay any further “fees” to withdraw — that is part of the trap. Funds sent to operations like this can sometimes be traced on-chain and pursued through the exchanges and processors that received them. Whether recovery is realistic depends on how you paid and how quickly you act.
